Writing helps to describe feelings and emotions, as well to heal and process wounds and clearing them out. Writing has also been shown to help people communicate complex ideas and thoughts more effectively. Expressive writing has also been linked to improved mood, well-being, and reduced stress levels for those who do it regularly. A study with two groups has shown that people who write down goals and make a weekly progress report achieved their goals at a rate of 76%. Whereas the participants of the group who didn´t write anything down just achieved their goals at a rate of 36%.
